Power metal has a unique ability to uplift the soul like nothing else. Portuguese band Master Dy may have started life deep the realms of back metal, but took a path to the lighter side with some uplifting power pop infused metal. Still retaining the themes of pain and the occult, not unlike one of their main inspirations Ghost. Their recent single You Are Not Alone has now been given the video treatment.
If you like your euro dance-pop with a fair share of theatrics, power metal riffing and chunky breakdowns then You Are Not Alone is a treat for your fair ears.
Along with Swedish occult heroes Ghost, Master Dy have listed their influences as German masters of the holy metal mass Powerwolf and the OG shock-rock occult legend himself Alice Cooper and his legendary blend of theatrical displays and hard hitting and accessible rock. Certainly not a bad batch of influences.
