Its not all brutal death metal and nihilistic black metal here at The Metal Protocol, sometimes a trumpet here and a trombone there can do wonders to calm a desolate soul. Californian skacore crew 8 Kalacas releases their third single and video, Pudrete from their forthcoming new album, Fronteras, set for release on March 25th via Atomic Fire Records.
Combining their Latin roots and their Californian upbringing and tossing into the mixing bowl with a heap of metal energy, 8 Kalacas brings something new and exciting to the table. Their latest single Pudrete is a sign of the chaotic energy to come from their upcoming album.
The band commented:
“We sing about the literal borders that so many countries enforce, that keep humans separated and discriminated against. But we also sing about the borders in our head that keep us from being happy or that keep us from believing that we are worthy people capable of doing more than what society tells us we can do.”
Fronteras will be released on March 25th via Atomic Fire Records.
