Sooner or later, everyone comes to the realisation that all music can be improved with the injection of some piratical plundering. European power metal quintet Visions Of Atlantis have taken the plunge on their latest single Legion Of The Seas, taken from their upcoming album Pirates. Visions Of Atlantis have had a steady stream of band member changes throughout their tenure, but have maintained some welcome stability from their previous release.
A further evolution of their sound, but unmistakable as their symphonic metal core, Legion Of The Seas takes you through legions of fire on a tour of the seven seas. Vocalist Clémentine Delauney once again puts her full vocal prowess on display, it’s great to see her return for a third release. Oh and be prepared to have the chorus melody stuck in your head all day.
