New Death Metal: Internal Organs External and more brutality

In the interest of introducing more death metal to your existence, and lets be frank, you cannot have enough death metal in your life, I am bringing to your attention three recent and upcoming death metal releases to crowbar in to your musical vocabulary. Nocturnal Hollow, From The Abyss and Internal Organs External have recently released and upcoming efforts to bring destruction to your void. Prepare for the brutality.

Internal Organs External to release Apocalyptic Domination EP

Internal Organs External is a one-man slamming brutal death metal band hailing from Arizona, USA. Vince Otero is the sole member who takes on responsibilities of performing guitars, vocals, and drum programming as well as recording duties.

Their latest EP Apocalyptic Domination will be released on May 14th 2021 on Vicious Instinct Records, with whom they recently signed a mutli-release deal. The first track has been released and it’s precisely what slamming brutal death metal should sound like. Grotesque Monstrosity is slow, guttural, atonal and filthy AF. Who gives a toss about music theory when you can just mash out maximum brutality with expert precision. I appreciate there is an oxymoron in there, but just appreciate the savage filth.

The second single S.S.M (slam saved me) features Jack from fellow slammers Kraanium and will be released April 16th on all major platforms.

Nocturnal Hollow premiere new album Triumphantly Evil

Venezuela’s Nocturnal Hollow formed back in 2010 and are currently promoting their latest album Triumphantly Evil, released in February 2021. Led by frontman JR Escalante, Nocturnal Hollow throw out classic old school death metal, coupled with their Latin American influence. Triumphantly Evil was released on February 21, 2021. This seventh LP in their discography is presented as a faster and a more aggressive one, elements the band sought to capture on this record.

JR Escalante, leader of the group, commented in relation to this release:

“We always try to experiment by putting ourselves at a level above our abilities. The type of sound is the same, always faithful to the roots of Swedish Death Metal. However, we seek to add certain elements of our musical tastes so that the result of this album comes out different. “

From The Abyss set to unleash second album Chaos Supremacy

From The Abyss was formed in 2015, in Havana, Cuba, with the intention of making a heavy and solid sound, along the lines of the old school of death metal. The group has been working on the promotion of the new album Chaos Supremacy, which will be released in April by Vrykoblast Productions.

The album cover is courtesy of Alex at Stench Art, and is illustrated and colored by Azmi Aztragartorgth. The inner design of the booklet is signed by Nyoman Sastrawan of Sadistic Records. Chaos Supremacy is the band’s second album and will be released on April 30, 2021, in CD format, via Vrykoblast Productions, and will feature 10 tracks, in addition to a cover by the Swedish death metal band Bloodbath.
