Brazil and The Netherlands combine forces in the brutally destructive form of Crypta, who have released their third single Dark Night of the Soul. Their upcoming debut album Echoes of the Soul will be released this Friday on Napalm Records. Expect an overload of old school savagery, destructive riffing and cataclysmic death metal of the highest order.
Whilst you wait, feast your blackened soul on the video release for Dark Night of the Soul. Harnessing the raw energy of old school death metal, with an additional layer of desolate atmospheric and vocals from the darkest depths of the abyss.
Crypta’s debut album will be out this Friday – descending upon the earth like an apocalyptic meteor! Echoes of the Soul was recorded in January 2021 at the Family Mob Studio (Brazil), mixed by Arthur Rizk (Code Orange, Powertrip etc.) and mastered by the famed Jens Bogren (Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, Sepultura etc.). The cover artwork was created by Wes Benscoter, who is internationally famous for his stunning covers for bands such as Slayer, Kreator, Black Sabbath and many more.
