WIZARDTHRONE release ripping first single Frozen Winds Of Thyraxia

Mortal beings, the time has finally come. After generations of anticipation, the ancient prophecy has finally been realised. The mighty supergroup Wizardthrone have released their first single, and it’s totally not what I was expecting. Frozen Winds Of Thyraxia is a technical blackened melodic death metal odyssey, honed through light years of existence creating their debut album Hypercube Necrodimensions.

As a first effort, Frozen Winds Of Thyraxia is a barnstorming release. Think Wintersun style melodeath, crossed with the techie madness of early Children of Bodom, sprinkled with a topping of interdimensional sorcery. Featuring members of Alestorm, Gloryhammer, Aether Realm, Forlorn Citaden, Nekrogoblikon and more, the musical brilliance of Wizardthrone is absolutely undeniable. Extreme Wizard Metal has arrived!

Featuring guest appearances from Aleksi Munter (Swallow The Sun/Insomnium), Florian Magnus Maier (Dark Fortress/Alkaloid) and Evan Berry (Wilderun), Hypercube Necrodimensions will be available on digipack CD bundled with an exclusive shirt and as a black gatefold LP, as well as marbled curacao/green vinyl (limited to 300) and as a digital album.
